Can San Marino become the land of crowdfunding, opening up to the possibilities of large-scale fundraising for high-tech companies and enabling commerce through the electronic currency known as Bitcoin? This is one of the questions that will be explored at the event "Crowdfunding & Blockchain: The Game Changers," organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino. This marathon of roundtable discussions and presentations will feature a distinguished panel of experts and industry professionals offering a series of contributions. The event will feature, in addition to the presence of the Rector of the University of San Marino, Corrado Petrocelli, the Secretary of State for Finance, Simone Celli, and the Secretary of State for Culture and Education, Marco Podeschi, who are sponsoring the initiative with their respective ministries.
The agenda includes in-depth discussions on specific cases and analyses of Italian and European regulations, as well as reflections on crowdfunding as a tool for financing product launches, loans to individuals and businesses, civic projects, and social initiatives.
The event, scheduled for November 30th starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, is made possible thanks to the collaboration of Pragmata Institute, the support of Banca CIS — Credito Industriale Sammarinese, and the patronage of the Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese association. The initiative has been accredited by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of San Marino for the training of members of professional registers.
