Promotion and support of new entrepreneurship and start-ups, organization of training internships and dissertations in small businesses, and development of specific skills in economics, business, technical-scientific, organizational, and management through programs geared toward professional development and employment growth. These are the main objectives of the framework agreement between OSLA, the Sammarinese Entrepreneurs' Organization, and the University of the Republic of San Marino. Signed yesterday afternoon by Rector Corrado Petrocelli and Monica Bollini, President of OSLA, the three-year agreement also provides for collaboration on scientific and applied research projects, as well as the development of entrepreneurial and managerial development projects.
"We are very pleased with this agreement with the University, which confirms its excellence and added value for the country's economic, cultural, and social system," explains Bollini. "As the leading employers' association for San Marino's small and medium-sized businesses, our association remains at the forefront of promoting the importance of these types of organizations within the country's economic system. At the same time, it continues to vigorously encourage San Marino businesses to update, improve, and innovate their procedures, services, and commercial offerings for the growth of their businesses and the entire Republic. Among the most interesting opportunities offered by the agreement is the creation of a research center with the aim of analyzing and processing the country's economic data to present studies, regulations, training events, research and development projects, and develop innovative services. This is a major development for San Marino, which will bring positive benefits."
"This agreement," Petrocelli states, "extends the already extensive network of agreements the University of San Marino has established with local organizations, institutions, and associations to implement areas of common interest and lead to concrete initiatives with positive implications for the Republic's economy and culture, involving faculty and staff in high-profile activities. This agreement will benefit the entire university community, from academics to students, while also positively contributing to San Marino's small and medium-sized businesses. It represents further significant evidence of the University of San Marino's commitment to its third mission, which focuses on the local community."
