High school students who will be taking their final exams in a few months and are planning their university careers will be able to learn about the degree programs offered by the University of the Republic of San Marino during a series of Facebook Live broadcasts scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM tomorrow, Friday, March 19.
Faculty, staff, and current and former students will be featured in a series of approximately 45-minute sessions, during which the three-year degree programs planned for the next academic year will be presented: Design at 2:00 pm, Civil Engineering at 3:00 pm, Construction and Land Management at 4:00 pm with a program dedicated to surveyors, Management Engineering at 5:00 pm, and Communication and Digital Media at 6:00 pm. The first, second, and penultimate live sessions will also cover the master's programs.
"Word of mouth has always played a key role in attracting enrollments for us," explains Rector Corrado Petrocelli. "The students who chose our University enjoyed their stay and spoke positively about it, so much so that they convinced others to enroll. And they saw proof of what they were saying. This year's Open Day," he continues, "will not take place as usual, with crowds of prospective freshmen and their families filling our campuses. It will still take place, but remotely. Follow us online, ask us questions, and we'll answer them, hoping to do it in person soon."
The live broadcasts can be followed on the University's Facebook page and simultaneously on the individual degree program pages. Furthermore, starting tomorrow, the content of the 2021 Open Days will be available on the website www.unirsm.sm, a virtual experience to safely learn about the University and listen to the voices of those who study and teach in the San Marino university community.
