Trust taxation and double taxation agreements, with a focus on the Italian-Sammarinese double taxation treaty, are the two topics to which the Sammarinese Law Institute of the University of the Republic of San Marino will dedicate two days of in-depth study on June 3 and 4 in the Montelupo Hall in Domagnano. The session will begin at 14:30 PM on Friday with a discussion on double taxation, led by Marco Greggi, associate professor of Tax Law and International Tax Law at the University of Ferrara, and a lecturer at the European School of Advanced Tax Studies. His talk will last until 18:30 pm, while from 9 am on Saturday, Thomas Tassani, professor of Tax Law at the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Bologna, will address the taxation of trusts with a lesson that will end at 13 pm. The events are organized by the San Marino School of Advanced Training for the professions of lawyer, notary, chartered accountant and accounting expert, which is part of the University's Sammarinese Legal Institute, in collaboration with the Foundation of Chartered Accountants and the Professional Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts, and are aimed in particular at professionals registered in the registers in Italy and San Marino.
