Applications will be open until January 16, 2025
The PhD in Historical Sciences at the University of the Republic of San Marino, launched over three decades ago and developed together with professors from the most prestigious academic institutions on the peninsula, as well as international institutions such as the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, has opened selections for its seventeenth cycle, scheduled from 2025 to 2028.
The admitted candidates, who must not have reached 32 years of age at the deadline of the competition announcement, will be sixteen. A scholarship is foreseen for ten of them.
With the new edition, the University's Higher School of Historical Studies consolidates a path that over the years has seen figures such as former Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi and journalist Paolo Mieli during his time as director of the daily newspaper Il Corriere della Sera take the chair at the university campuses of the Titano, in addition to academics and scholars. Space will also be given to representatives of entities such as the Fondazione Istituto Gramsci in Rome, the Italian Archaeological School in Athens and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris.
Applications will be open until January 16, 2025.
