“I was struck by the strongly professionalizing connotation of the training course, there are both theory and above all practice. The teachers expect the production of something that shows what we have learned through projects and group work, for example I am thinking of the creation of a website or the elaboration of an editorial plan for social media marketing”. These are the words with which the student Marzio Bruno, enrolled in the third year of the Communication and Digital Media degree course at the University of the Republic of San Marino, describes his experience in one of the podcasts created as part of the Open Days of the 'Ateneo, available online on the website www.unirsm.sm to offer information and testimonials to those who are planning their university future.
Collected by Usmaradio, the University's radio station, his impressions are expanded with a comment on the internship experience included in the study plan: "It was really useful, it allowed me to apply what I learned, then apply theory and practice to the needs of companies and start-ups”.
Launched three years ago with a focus on digital communication tools with a view to training expert figures to operate on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, the degree course has so far involved 170 students and followed over 90 internships in private companies and institutions such as the Municipality of Rimini: “From the meeting between companies and our members – explains Sara Giardi, scientific technical tutor – long-term projects are being born which will allow students to enter the world of work as soon as they graduate. Those who are approaching the completion of their studies have already received some professional proposals or have personally started projects in the sector to which they can devote themselves completely once the training course on the Titan has been completed".
Enrollments for the degree course are open until 20 July. The virtual Open Days, which include content such as videos and presentations, also involve training courses in Design, Management Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction and Territorial Management.
