Thursday the presentation of the volume on the archives of the Pieve edited by the History department of the University of San Marino

The analysis, reorganization, and organization of approximately five hundred documents from the historical archives of the Pieve del Titano, recently curated by the Sammarinese Center for Historical Studies of the University of the Republic of San Marino, have led to the new publication of the Sammarinese Series of Historical Studies, which will be presented on Thursday, January 17, at the Department of History, Culture, and San Marino History, at Via Salita alla Rocca 44, in the historic center, at 17:30 PM.

Authored by Sonia Ferri and Allegra Paci, the book is based on content such as decks and registers from 1526 onwards, including the cards of all the archive's units and representing a key tool for understanding and consulting the Pieve's collection, particularly for study and research activities.

The presentation will feature speeches by Ercole Sori, director of the Sammarinese Centre for Historical Studies; Sonia Ferri, one of the volume's editors; Marco Podeschi, Secretary of State for Education and Culture; Andrea Turazzi, Bishop of San Marino-Montefeltro; Leo Marino Morganti, president of the Commission for the Conservation of Monuments; and Paolo Rondelli, member of the Scientific Council of the Sammarinese Centre for Historical Studies.

The book is titled "Historical Archives of the Parish of San Marino. Inventory of the Parish of San Marino (1526-1991, with copies of documents from the 15th century) Auditorium of San Marino (1759-1897)." Admission is free.
