Over a thousand graduates from the University of the Republic of San Marino have gathered on San Marino for the first reunion organized by the University and dedicated to all its students, current and former. On Saturday, May 25th, as part of the University's Notte Bianca (White Night), an event will celebrate the careers of those who, after graduating from the Republic, have gone on to excel in their professions. The event will take place in Piazza della Libertà, in the historic center of San Marino, at 4:00 PM. A series of activities related to the University's Notte Bianca (White Night) and open to the public are scheduled from 6:00 PM. Among the events are seven in-depth discussions on the world of design presented by professors and alumni, a sound design workshop hosted by the University radio station, Usmaradio, and a team game in which participants will be challenged to build a tower using balloons and duct tape, out-doing their opponents. Finally, there will be music in Piazzale Lo Stradone, following the "Il giro del monte" running event, with an evening featuring, among others, university students and former students.
"These initiatives represent an opportunity to bring back to Rome the more than one thousand students and graduates who have completed their academic experiences in the Republic, with an event dedicated to networking, knowledge, and sharing," explains Rector Corrado Petrocelli. "It will be a moment of celebration and reflection, during which they will discuss the professional paths and careers undertaken in Design, Civil Engineering, Management Engineering, as well as Historical Studies, the focus of our PhD program."
