Students from the University of San Marino create the video sets for the play "Antigone Nata Contro," currently on stage in Senigallia.

The video sets for the show "Antigone Nata Contro," scheduled for this evening at the "La Fenice" theater in Senigallia, are the work of 14 students from the Design program at the University of the Republic of San Marino. The performance, based on Sophocles' tragedy and directed by Giorgio Sebastianelli with choreography by Paola Piccioni, will feature students from the classical theater workshop at the Giulio Perticari State High School in Senigallia.

The event is scheduled for 9:15 pm and represents a further step in the already active collaboration between the Marche region and the University of San Marino. Two of the students involved, Nicola Colomboni and Sara Franchini, share their experience: "It was a significant opportunity because it allowed us to explore the theater, something we had never encountered before," explain the two, enrolled in the second year of the three-year Design program. "The great challenge was to visually interpret the scenes from the play while remaining consistent with it and the story. The outcome of the creative and design process," they continue, referring to the work done as part of the Video and Multimedia Workshop conducted on Mount Titan by instructor Raffaele Cafarelli and Elena La Maida, "was overseen by both our professors and the director. From the projects we initially envisioned, those most consistent and in tune with the mood of the show were selected. Then, thanks to three days of workshops, we finalized the project and delved deeper into the world of theater by learning to use specific software for video projection. Being able to see our work in such an important theater is certainly a unique experience, as was being able to meet and get to know new people and professionals from a world so different from our own."
