San Marino's public administration officials and managers are learning about Europe. They are doing so thanks to a series of meetings organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino, which, through six events, will provide public administration leaders with in-depth insights into the circulation of goods, capital, services, and people, as well as financing. Specific analyses of San Marino's integration process are also planned. Tomorrow, Monday, November 20th, Professor Pietro Manzini, Professor of European Union Law at the University of Bologna, will deliver the second of the scheduled meetings at the Antico Monastero di Santa Chiara.
Organized by the University of San Marino's International Relations Research Center and grouped under the title "Understanding Europe – Integration between San Marino and the European Union within the Framework of the Four Fundamental Freedoms," the seminars are designed to provide an analytical understanding of the relationship between the public sector and the EU, as noted by the center's director, Michele Chiaruzzi: "With this initiative, which involves approximately 60 senior figures in San Marino's public administration, we are offering a training service for our country's governing class, aiming to provide theoretical and operational skills to those who must deal with the European context at this level."
