The volume “Media and Gender – History, Representation, Reception” collects the contents of an international conference held on Titan
Communication and visual arts experts, sociologists, historians and more analyze the ways in which gender identities and roles have been proposed over the years by magazines and television broadcasters, on blogs and social platforms, in a book edited by two professors of the University of the Republic of San Marino, Maria Elena D'Amelio and Luca Gorgolini.
The volume, entitled "Media and Gender - History, Representation, Reception", collects the projects underlying the interventions offered on Titan on 10 and 11 May 2022 during an international conference organized by the Department of Human Sciences together with the Department of History, Culture and History of San Marino: thirty speakers selected from a total of 70 projects submitted by countries such as Spain, China, England and the United States.
