Open Day 2023: all about the courses in Communication and Digital Media, Construction and Territorial Management, Design, Civil Engineering, Management Engineering
Workshops, experiments, games, exhibitions, interactive experiences and guided tours will characterize the 2023 edition of the Open Days of the University of the Republic of San Marino, divided into three locations on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 March: involving degree courses in Communication and Digital Media, Construction and Land Management, Design, Civil Engineering and Management Engineering. For the last three, in addition to the three-year courses, focus on master's programmes.
Among the various appointments, on Friday the degree course in Management Engineering will 'transform' aspiring freshmen into managers for a day with the creation, on paper, of a virtual start-up: gathered in small groups and coordinated by the program staff training, the participants will be asked to hypothesize, in the framework of a game, an innovative company taking into consideration aspects such as the originality of the services or products offered, customer relationships, costs and distribution channels, thus understanding what does a management engineer do?
The initiative will take place at Dogana in the World Trade Center headquarters, in via Consiglio dei Sessanta 99, where a series of in-depth studies is also scheduled on Friday which will involve the degree course in Civil Engineering and the three-year program in Construction and Land Management dedicated to surveyors. Visitors will be able to 'touch' some of the areas explored in the classroom and in the field during lessons and internships, ranging from 'green' topics such as the eco-sustainable techniques used in road maintenance and the sustainable reclamation of contaminated sites.
Passing from Dogana to the historic center of Titano, the degree course in Design will set up a series of exhibitions in the spaces of the Ancient Monastery of Santa Chiara, in the Omerelli 20 district, in which editorial products, posters, illustrations and experiments will be displayed, as well as experiences interactive and multimedia linked to realities such as the Achille Castiglioni Foundation in Milan, the Civic Archaeological Museum of Verucchio and the Orto dei Frutti Dimenticati in Pennabilli. Among the exhibitions, open both Friday and Saturday, an exhibition on the deportation to the Nazi extermination camps developed by the students in collaboration with the architect Anna Steiner and the influencer Luis Sal.
Remaining in the upper part of the republic, in viale Onofri 87 the three-year degree course in Communication and Digital Media will open its doors to future students both Friday and Saturday: on the second of the scheduled days, an in-depth study together with the director of the training program, Giovanna Cosenza , and testimonials from current members.
Some initiatives will take place by reservation. More information on the website www.unirsm.sm.
