A scholarship to attend the two-year Master's program in Global Affairs at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, named after scholar and diplomat Guido Bellatti Ceccoli, was awarded last Wednesday by the Research Center for International Relations at the University of the Republic of San Marino. The initiative is in memory of San Marino's former permanent representative to the Council of Europe, who passed away in 2017 and who taught this very program.
The scholarship winner is Alessandra Gramolini, who will thus have access to a high-level Master's program offered by the Spanish university in the city of Strasbourg, France, home to international institutions such as the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights.
"Created to allow dedicated and deserving young people to learn about international relations through study and practice," comments Michele Chiaruzzi, director of the Research Center for International Relations, "the scholarship provides privileged access to the Master's program promoted by the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, the Council on International Law and Politics, and our organization."
