The University of the Republic of San Marino has joined a World Bank research project entitled "Women, Economics, and Law." Led by the University of San Marino's International Relations Research Center, directed by Michele Chiaruzzi, the project includes, among other things, a contribution to the drafting of an annual report analyzing laws and regulations regarding women's economic inclusion in 190 economies worldwide. "The goal," explains Chiaruzzi, "is to identify obstacles to their economic participation and encourage reform of discriminatory laws. Our participation in this research project," the academic continues, "further demonstrates the strategic success of the University of San Marino and its International Relations Research Center, which in just a few years have established themselves not only as institutions capable of acting at the European and international levels, but also as key players for the global epistemic community. This is also thanks to prudent investments and far-sighted commitments."
The Center for International Relations Research has been part of the project since June 15.
