Cycling from Germany to promote the Frankfurt Center for European Studies: the University of San Marino offers its support.

Cycling to visit Europe, including San Marino, and symbolize its unity through sport. But also to connect with the universities of the cities they visit. This, in short, is the "mission" that nine Germans with a passion for cycling, ranging in age from 20 to 40, are taking to the road, carrying the flag of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, an academic institution based in Frankfurt, Germany, where activities related to the creation of the Center for Applied European Studies have recently begun.

The group, which departed on Friday, September 16, arrived on San Marino last night and departed this morning for Rome, the final leg of a 1.253-kilometer journey. They were welcomed by a delegation from the University of the Republic of San Marino, which supported a continent-wide initiative that takes on particular significance in light of the recent launch of the San Marino Europe Point, an information point established by the University of San Marino to provide qualified information and dissemination services on the EU in the San Marino region.

The overall project, called the "Frankfurt UAS European Bike Tour," includes four phases, each coinciding with a different journey, covering a total of at least 14 European countries. In addition to Rome, the destinations include Paris, France; Warsaw, Poland; and Gothenburg, Sweden.
