Road engineering, teacher Andrea Grilli in Rimini for a seminar on "green" techniques

The main techniques capable of combining high quality and reduction of environmental impact in road construction were the focus of the seminar held yesterday by Andrea Grilli, researcher and professor of the Master's Degree Course in Civil Engineering at the University of the Republic of San Marino , in the headquarters of Pesaresi Giuseppe Costruzioni in Rimini, one of the most successful Italian companies in the road construction sector. Strengthened by a consolidated relationship in six years of collaboration characterized by common research and innovation interests in the field of road engineering, with particular reference to eco-sustainable products and colored flooring, the company and the University of Titano yesterday saw the participation about 30 people, including engineers from the Autonomous State Authority for Public Works of San Marino (AASLP), technicians from the Municipalities of Fano, Riccione and Santarcangelo, operators from the company Management Services for the Environment and the Territory of Riccione (GEAT) and industry professionals active in the area. Together with them, some of the students of the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering of San Marino were present, who 'mingled' with road network managers and builders to learn more and share experiences on the subject of eco-sustainable constructions. In his seminar, Grilli spoke in particular of cold road construction techniques and recycling techniques, passing from theoretical principles to the exposition of some experiences faced in the motorway and airport sector, as well as in urban networks. The advantages, he underlined, are environmental, technical, performance and economic. For the University of the Republic of San Marino, the seminar represented a new step in the already solid relationship with the Pesaresi Giuseppe Costruzioni company, available every year to show the Engineering students of the San Marino University visits areas such as the production plant of the bituminous conglomerate and the company's quality control laboratory. The company also hosts some trainees on research topics and is open to giving employment prospects to those studying on the Titan.
