San Marino jurisprudence just a click away for everyone: the website edited by the University of San Marino has been presented

The possibility of consulting an archive with the principles of law expressed in the sentences of San Marino civil and criminal jurisprudence, thanks to a service just a click away and divided into sections for easy research by lawyers, judges, professionals and non-professionals Alone. This is what is offered by the new San Marino jurisprudence portal, created by the University of the Republic of San Marino with the collaboration of the Court, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, Department of Institutional Affairs and Justice, Order of Lawyers and Notaries.

The website was presented this morning in the university headquarters of the former Courthouse, in the historic center of Titano, in front of an audience that brought together figures such as academics, sector operators, institutional and public administration representatives. Managed by the San Marino Legal Institute of the University, the project involved, among others, the director Paolo Pascucci, a web developer and three researchers.

Visitors to the site will be able to orient themselves within two main areas, one dedicated to civil law, the other to criminal law. An example: in the 'family' section you will find subsections such as 'marriage', 'filiation' and 'separation'. By deepening the first, he will be able to consult the relative juridical principle and find the references on the sentence in which it was affirmed.

"At the moment the portal is in an experimental phase and is continuously enriched by the contents curated by our researchers, who are inserting the maxims found in the analyzed sentences", explains Pascucci. “We are therefore faced with an open project with great potential. At the moment there are over 400 items identified for the index of maxims, a number destined to grow as the principles expressed increase. Before the existence of the portal this was to be found in a series of paper volumes published periodically and edited by our institute. From today on they will be online, saving time in research and speed in publishing content”.
