San Marino jurisprudence decisions, grouped by topic and introduced by a summary highlighting their legal principles, will be published online and made available on a dedicated website, ensuring rapid and convenient access for industry professionals and all interested parties. This is established by a memorandum of understanding involving the Court, the Secretariat of State for Foreign Affairs and Justice, the Secretariat of State for Internal Affairs, the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, the Department of Institutional Affairs and Justice, the Sammarinese Legal Institute of the University of the Republic of San Marino, and the Order of Lawyers and Notaries.
The agreement, signed this morning at Palazzo Pubblico by the institutions and organizations involved, is aimed at a stable collaboration that will facilitate the process of acquiring and publishing the rulings prepared and indexed by researchers at the University's Sammarinese Law Institute, which has already published collections of civil case law from 1911 to 1995, criminal case law from 1964 to 1990, and administrative case law from 1990 to 1999. Users will therefore be able to find, along with the documents, a summary of the most relevant content, which will facilitate their consultation, thus enriching and organizing the heritage that underpins the activity.
The protocol, the document states, provides for the creation of a "specifically dedicated website, freely accessible and designed as a public service," designed to be "easily accessible to all legal practitioners and anyone interested." The new portal will host updates to the civil collection from 1996 to 2010 and the criminal collection from 1991 to 2005, while work will be carried out backwards from 2018 to fill in the missing years.
