The methods of analysis, balances, distortions, opportunities, effects and the most urgent areas of intervention in the framework of gender issues in the professional field will be addressed in the next conference of the University of the Republic of San Marino together with experts and academics from the universities of Bologna, Modena and Reggio Emilia and beyond.
During the event, scheduled for Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April in the university headquarters of the Ex Tribunal, in the historic center, among other things, cases and experiences will be illustrated which involved the University of Urbino and the Municipality of Bologna in the development of gender budgets in which the quantity of women and men active in each reality was identified, with the aim of resolving any imbalances. This is a horizon that is also being evaluated in the University of San Marino, as announced last October during an international conference held in Milan on the role of educational and academic realities in the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on prevention and control against violence against women and domestic violence.
By the way, the director of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of San Marino, Luigi Guerra, will curate a speech focused on the gender situation in the context of San Marino academic research, which will be accompanied by a contribution from the professor Karen Venturini on the stimuli of equality gender for organizational innovation. There will also be space for in-depth analysis of professions in the cultural and creative industries during a multi-voice discussion managed by the teacher Maria Elena D'Amelio, with the participation of Giovanna Cosenza, director of the degree course in Communication and Digital Media of the University of San Marino, and of the representatives of other universities on the peninsula.
Finally, an analysis of the business world is planned by figures active in bodies and institutions such as the Province of Pesaro – Urbino and TÜV Thüringen Italia, which mainly deals with management system certifications for quality, environment and health. and safety at work.
The two-day event will take place under the patronage of the Secretariat of State for Labor and the Secretariat of State for Education and Culture, in collaboration with the Authority for Equal Opportunities and the San Marino Women's Union. The Education Laboratory for Gender Identity (LEI) was involved for the University of San Marino.
