On Wednesday, August 9, Their Excellencies the Captains Regent visited the Emigrant Museum and the exhibition "Tomorrow Will I Hear From You?", dedicated to women's letters and memoirs and organized by the Emigration Research Center, in collaboration with the National Diary Archive of Pieve Santo Stefano, on the occasion of the University's White Night.
For Their Excellencies the Captains Regent the history of Sammarinese emigration is "a chapter of courage, sacrifice, dreams, and achievements, one which, in so many cases, has seen our fellow citizens prove capable—thanks to their hard work, commitment, and tenacity—of successful integration into the political, social, and economic fabric of the countries that welcomed them."
Words of support also went to the activities of the Emigration Research Center – Emigrant Museum: "For this reason, we believe that the Emigrant Museum constitutes a valuable service for the various communities of Sammarinese living abroad and for the many descendants of emigrants who remained – or returned – to the Republic."
