Guests included the CEO of TIM and the coordinator of the Committee for the update of the national strategy on AI

The coordinator of the task force appointed by the Italian Council of Ministers to address the challenges posed by artificial intelligence, together with the CEO of one of the most prestigious telecommunications companies on the peninsula, will be among the main speakers at a conference organized by the University of the Republic of San Marino and scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday 28 November in the Aula Magna of the headquarters in Contrada Omerelli 20, in the historic center of the Titano.

Titled “Innovate responsibly – dialogues on artificial intelligence and ethics”, the event will develop to address some questions involved in a thoughtful approach to new technological resources, combining innovation and social responsibility. Gianluigi Greco, coordinator of the Committee for the update of the national strategy on artificial intelligence, professor at the University of Calabria and president of the Italian Association for AI, will take stock in a series of interventions that will also involve the CEO of the TIM Group, Pietro Labriola, and Elio Schiavo, chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer of TIM.

During the event, which will end at 13:XNUMX p.m., contributions are also expected from Francesco Sacco, professor at the University of Insubria and the SDA Bocconi School of Management, Giovanna Cosenza, director of the degree course in Communication and Digital Media at the University of San Marino, and Nicola Barone, president of TIM San Marino. They will address, among other things, aspects such as the professions of the future and the consequences of artificial intelligence on the business front.

The floor will also be given to the Rector of the University of San Marino, Corrado Petrocelli, who will speak together with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari, the Secretary of State for Education and Culture, Teodoro Lonfernini, and the director of the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences “Alberto Marvelli”, Marco Casadei.

"This event - explains the Rector - affirms the attention of our University towards some of the most discussed challenges of the present and the future, moreover on levels that concern everyone's daily life, from an individual and collective perspective, in the workplace as in free time. The speed with which the tools at our disposal are evolving requires, in a perspective of common sense oriented by knowledge, an awareness that can derive first of all from listening to voices like those we have questioned. It will be a precious opportunity to learn and understand, very important for those who, like us, work in close contact with the younger generations".
