Aiming to expand its educational offerings with a high-level academic initiative and respond to job market trends, the University of San Marino announces the launch of a new master's degree program in Management Engineering. The program, which extends the curriculum established with the three-year program offered since 2012, will begin in the 2018–19 academic year.
"The main reasons for this course," explains instructor Massimo Bertolini, "lie essentially in the need to address specific local needs, which has demonstrated a lack of professional profiles suitable for graduates with a master's degree in management."
The program, for which registration is currently open, is being developed in partnership with the University of Parma and will take place primarily in the classrooms of the University of San Marino's new headquarters located in the Dogana World Trade Center, on the highway connecting San Marino to Rimini, a few kilometers from the Rimini Sud motorway exit. Approximately 1.000 square meters of space and cutting-edge technology are available.
"Employment prospects assessed in the Emilia-Romagna region tell us that in recent years, graduates with a master's degree in Management Engineering find employment within 2-3 months of graduation, with a 60% distribution in the industrial sector and 40% in advanced services. Compared to bachelor's degree graduates," Bertolini continues, "employment prospects are better in terms of skills and professionalism. They also tend to offer a better career path."
