The Italian Patent and Trademark Office (SPO) and the University of San Marino have teamed up to offer a student an internship at the EU Intellectual Property Office.

A student from the University of the Republic of San Marino will participate in a paid internship at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), based in Alicante, Spain. This internship is supported by the Patent and Trademark Office of the Republic of San Marino and implements the cooperation agreement between the San Marino institution and the European Patent Organization. The selected candidate is Alessia Gravina, a graduate of the University of San Marino's master's degree program in Design and a graduate of the undergraduate program.

The initiative is part of the Pan-European Seal, a comprehensive internship program that connects academia to the job market in fields such as intellectual property, law, finance, business, and engineering, with the aim of promoting and disseminating intellectual property within the academic community.
The program is promoted in collaboration with two of the world's largest organizations working in this sector: the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich, Germany, and a network of strategic university partners, including the University of San Marino.
This programme offers access to a one-year paid internship at the EUIPO or the EPO, supporting participants' entry into the world of work through valuable, multicultural, and professional field experience.

The Pan-European Programme offers internships annually to graduates of partner universities. The number of available positions is determined annually. Gravina's internship will begin on September 16th.
