A research based on the performance in the social and health services of Titano, the Canadian province of Québec and the Marche region, carried out by the University of the Republic of San Marino, was presented on 6 September in Naples during "Innovation & Society 2017 – Statistical Methods for Evaluation”, international scientific conference on statistical methodologies for measuring the quality of services organized by the Italian Statistical Society and by the Statistical Research Group for evaluation and quality in services.
The study illustrated during the initiative hosted by the Federico II University, signed by Pietro Renzi from San Marino and by his Italian colleague Alberto Franci, both professors of the Management Engineering degree course, compared the three realities by providing parameters concerning "the acceptability, quality, efficiency and equity" of the health systems analysed, with the aim of providing useful elements to those in charge of "establishing public health priorities", reads the text of the research.
“Participating in a conference of this caliber, in which colleagues from structures such as the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, the University of Pisa and the University of Economics of Bucharest were present, represents an excellent opportunity to illustrate one's work and broaden the prospects of our activities, which are increasingly directed towards this scientific sector”, explains Renzi. “On 5 and 6 October the study will also be presented at the annual conference of the Italian Association of Health Economics which will be held at the Department of Economics and Business Sciences of the University of Pavia”.
