A selection notice has been issued for a research grant for an under 35 graduate in Civil Engineering
The University of the Republic of San Marino continues and implements the activities relating to the management and planning of road maintenance with a tender for the identification of a graduate who will be awarded a research grant for the development of software dedicated to institutions premises involved in the care and restoration of road networks.
Within the framework of the degree course in Civil Engineering, engaged for years in the sector with currently active collaborations in realities such as Fano, Ravenna and Riccione, an under 35 with a master's degree will therefore be given the opportunity to participate in the activities with which the University of San Marino is calibrating the instrument.
“Our work is concentrated on a georeferenced interactive map from which anyone, even without specific skills, can explore a territory by observing the road network and obtaining a wide range of information such as the date of the last works and the type of interventions, on the materials used, the identity of the operators involved and more”, explains the professor Andrea Grilli, coordinator of the research. “This is thanks to texts, analyses, photos and videos that can be consulted in a clear and intuitive way”.
The aim is therefore to provide local public bodies with a useful and easy-to-use tool with a view to improving efficiency.
Applications to participate in the selection, which includes a year of activity, must be delivered by 12 noon on 14 November.
