An analysis on the management and planning of the maintenance of the road surfaces of the Titano carried out by the State Company for Public Works and defined together with the University of the Republic of San Marino, to identify the sections on which to intervene after having created a " technical, economic and environmental evaluation of different intervention scenarios”.
This is what will be required of the figure who will be awarded the research grant envisaged in a recent announcement by the University of San Marino, open to San Marino citizens or residents aged 35 or less who have already obtained a master's degree in Civil Engineering.
“The research fellow – reads the text describing the selection procedure – will alternate study and research activities with application and field activities in close contact with the AASLP staff, carrying out site inspections, surveys and checks on the San Marino road network”. The sections to be included in the maintenance plan, it is also specified, will be selected on the basis of a series of values which will define "the level of priority according to technical parameters representative of the state of conservation, regularity, traffic volume, strategic importance of the road and the maintenance costs already absorbed in the past”.
Applications to participate in the selection must be received by 12 noon on 20 May 2019 at the Department of Economics, Science and Law of the University of the Republic of San Marino, in via Consiglio dei Sessanta 99, Dogana. The full text is available on the website www.unirsm.sm, in the "announcements, competitions and selection" section, present in the "university" area.
