The University of San Marino will award a research grant for the project "Climate Change and Sustainable Construction"

The call for applications is now open and falls within the scope of the Civil Engineering degree courses.

The University of the Republic of San Marino will select a candidate for a research grant as part of the "Climate Change and Sustainable Construction" project, managed by the Civil Engineering degree program.

Through academic activity, "new approaches and solutions" will be proposed in light of the "possibility of designing high-performance and technologically advanced structures capable of satisfying multiple needs, particularly in terms of resistance, durability, and the ability to respond to exceptional actions," the announcement states.

On a practical level, for existing buildings, several interventions will be proposed to "improve or adapt to current regulatory requirements." For new construction, however, "the application of innovative materials, construction methods, and recycling" will be considered.

Applications for the selection process, open to those with a master's degree in Civil Engineering, must be submitted by 10 a.m. on March 16.
Anyone wishing to apply for a six-month scholarship offered by the Management Engineering degree program to support certain "applied and industrial research activities" as well as the "technology transfer" of project results in the local area has until 12 noon on March 19th.
