The University of San Marino is increasingly acting as a 'bridge' to businesses: 104 interviews were organized by Management Engineering in a single day.

Strategic companies from Emilia-Romagna, Marche and San Marino are present, with open job or internship positions.

Practical and in-depth meetings with targeted companies to facilitate the entry into the world of work of students at the University of the Republic of San Marino, or graduates from San Marino. This was the focus of the Career Day for the Management Engineering degree programs at the University of San Marino, which on Thursday, February 19, dedicated an entire day to networking with ten selected and strategic companies from Emilia-Romagna, Marche, and San Marino. The profile of the companies was broad: from manufacturing companies with hundreds of millions of euros in revenue and a thousand employees, to smaller ones specializing in fields such as software development, industrial automation, and data analytics.

In addition to attending a presentation by each company, students and graduates were able to have individual interviews lasting approximately 15 minutes each, behind closed doors and in a private setting, for a total of 104 meetings throughout the day. Given the need to discuss real opportunities, only companies with open job or internship positions were present.

Among the participating companies were Scavolini (kitchen furniture), Rivacold (industrial and commercial refrigeration), SCM Group (woodworking systems and more), Celli Group (machinery for the food industry), Meloni Walter (home hygiene and personal care), Sit Group, and Aetna Group (packaging). Some have already hired graduates from the University of San Marino and are familiar with the level of expertise and preparation demonstrated by those studying Management Engineering on San Marino.

The initiative, now in its second year, took place at the university campus in Dogana and is part of a broader program that in recent weeks has seen the University of San Marino committed on various levels to ensuring the best career opportunities for its students and providing useful information to those choosing where to invest in their university future.

On February 20th and 21st, the program's features were presented to prospective students and their families during Open Days, which attracted hundreds of attendees. On February 12th, the Construction and Land Management degree program hosted over 40 students from the Institute.

The meeting was held by the Technical Institute of Rimini's "O. Belluzzi L. Da Vinci" in collaboration with the College of Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors of the Province of Rimini. On the previous day, students and graduates of the Design and Communication and Digital Media programs met with representatives of eighteen local high-tech companies in partnership with San Marino Innovation.
