The University will host a series of seminars on the world of work within the EU. The world of work within the framework of relations between the European Union and the San Marino community. This is what will be discussed during the series of seminars that the Research Center for International Relations of the University of the Republic of San Marino will organize for members of the Centrale Sindacale Unitaria (United Trade Union Central), with a program divided into eight sessions and scheduled between March and April.
Space will therefore be given to topics such as EU funding, strategic policies, the free movement of goods, people, and workers, with a perspective calibrated in light of the process currently involving San Marino, engaged in the negotiation of an agreement with the European Union regarding the "single market."
The first of the events, titled "European Integration Policy: The Case of San Marino," is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7. Michele Chiaruzzi, director of the University's International Relations Research Center, will speak on the initiative's purpose: "With this effort to disseminate knowledge, even outside the University, we are confirming one of our institutional missions: the production of a common good accessible to our community, helping to make the University a source of value for the country," he explains. "This 'third mission,' in addition to research and teaching, considers not only the economic outcomes of university activity, such as spin-offs, patents, and infrastructure, but also social outcomes such as knowledge, training, and analysis. Both create value."
The seminars, grouped under the title "Europe's Work — Workers and Citizens between San Marino and the European Union," will be held at the Centrale Sindacale Unitaria (United Trade Union) headquarters in Domagnano, from 17:30 PM to 19:30 PM. Admission is open to CSU members. The seminars are reserved for members of the Centrale Sindacale Unitaria.
