Giacomone: “In the past, undecided students later enrolled in our University and graduated successfully”
Twenty-seven hours of lessons, open to all, to explore some of the central subjects of the three-year degree courses in Management Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction and Land Management together with four teachers from the University of the Republic of San Marino.
This is the initiative scheduled from Monday 18 to Friday 22 September in the university headquarters of the World Trade Center in Dogana, with a focus on Mathematical Analysis, Computer Science, Physics and Geometry. Doors open every morning from 9am to 30pm, in the afternoon from 12pm to 30pm (excluding Fridays).
“This is an opportunity aimed above all at those who are enrolling in our courses, but also at those who still have doubts about their university career and want to 'touch' the classroom experience and the style of the professors, as well as acquire some very useful foundations in studying", explains teacher Belen Giacomone, professor of the Civil Engineering degree course.
There is therefore space for students who are already enrolled, simply interested and not only: "In the past we have often welcomed young people who were still undecided, who thanks to this initiative then chose our University and graduated successfully".
Through examples, exercises and frontal lessons, participants will be able to familiarize themselves, among other things, with "the indispensable Microsoft Word and Excel applications - explains teacher Pietro Renzi from the Management Engineering degree course - becoming familiar with the two software and understanding them the basic functions, and then move on to more compressed operations, until mastery and autonomy are developed".
