Bis for research on performance evaluation models in social and health services carried out by the University of the Republic of San Marino. Indeed, after the presentation in Naples as part of the "Innovation & Society 2017 — Statistical Methods for Evaluation" appointment on 6 September, the analyzes signed by professor Alberto Franci and his San Marino colleague Pietro Renzi, together with the director of the degree course in Management Engineering Alberto Dormio, were the focus of the annual conference of the Italian Association of Health Economics hosted by the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Pavia.
"We have had many confirmations on the value of our research, especially in the part relating to health inequalities linked to socio-economic status", explains Renzi on his return from the trip that committed him on 5 and 6 October last. “The novelty of the study - continues the academic - is linked to the analysis of the inequalities detected by the indicators of the state of health, which appear to have better values in the classes of the population with a higher level of education or with a higher income. Our analysis demonstrates how socio-economic status is reflected in health conditions".
The research of the University of San Marino, focused on the context of the Marche region, therefore addressed the socio-economic inequalities in health, finding systematic disparities in the indicators relating to accessibility to care, the adequacy of services and health promotion.
