San Marino Innovation has a new logo: two students from the University of Titano created it

Yesterday the announcement of the winning project of a competition reserved for Design degree courses

"Innovation, growth, progress and dynamism", transmitted through "minimal graphics" in which the last letter, in italics, symbolizes "advancement and constant improvement", while the preoriginators convey “solidity and reliability”.

These are some of the words with which Giulia Costantini and Cristina Bacchini, students from the University of the Republic of San Marino, described the new San Marino logo Innovation, of which they are the authors.

Their project was chosen within the framework of a competition reserved for those enrolled in the University's Design degree courses, in which sixteen proposals were submitted. A jury made up of academics and exponents of theinstitute, which has among its main objectives the consolidation in the republic of an innovation ecosystem recognized throughout the world, based on technological excellence and institutional dynamism.

The verdict was based on criteria such as the degree of innovation of the logo, the ability to be recognizable and the credibility conveyed, which also led to the indication of a second and third place, Sofia Fantini and Giuseppe Olivieri.

"Each proposal brought with it something new and distinctive that challenged conventions", the words of Michele Cervellini, director of San Marino Innovation. “The originality expressed in the projects made the decision-making process extremely complex, while enriching the competition with a range of unique and stimulating options. The level of excellence and innovation – he underlines – reflects the vitality and diversity of the creative talent of the girls and boys who participated”.

Words shared bydegree courses in Design: "For our young designers and for the University it was a splendid opportunity,” he says by the staff Giorgio Dall'Osso. “Opportunities like these represent useful tools for comparison and contamination between institutions that find common ground for research and growth in innovation”.
