Two days of study as part of advanced training courses in Victimology and Criminology
Sport between doping, eating disorders and body shaming, but also as an opportunity for redemption, seen through the lenses of the advanced training course in Clinical and Forensic Victimology at the University of the Republic of San Marino: this is the focus of a in-depth day scheduled for Saturday 2 March at the university headquarters in via Salita alla Rocca 44, in the historic center of Titano, with the participation of professionals, sports law experts, academics, psychologists, psychiatrists and more.
Among the speakers of the initiative, which starts at 9 am, the scientific director of the master's degree in Criminology of the University of Titano, Cristiano Depalmas, the head of the Italian Paralympic Committee, Gianluca Vignali, and the sports director of the San Marino Special Sports Federation, Paola Cute.
The appointment will be preceded, on Friday 1 March, by a further day of study on a different area, entitled "Between restorative justice and alternative punishments: San Marino the first state in the world without prison". The hypotheses and perspectives on the table from 15 pm will be addressed by figures such as Giancarlo Giulianelli, guarantor of human rights in the Marche Region, Giancarlo Nivoli, director of the master's degree in Criminology at the University of San Marino, and Francesca Civerchia, head of the Adult Social Service in Execution of Pena (SSAEP).
The event, accredited by the Order of Lawyers and Notaries, will take place under the patronage of the Secretariat of State for Justice and the General Directorate of Public Function, also involved in the sport initiative.
Both events are valid for the in-service training of Public Administration and wider PA personnel.
