Students and traineeships, an agreement between Confindustria Romagna and the University of San Marino: a network of a thousand companies involved

“Companies will have the opportunity to assign trainees to real projects, with identifiable and tangible outputs, being able to find solutions to contingent problems”. On the other hand, students have "the opportunity to observe a company in its operation" and measure themselves "with critical issues to be resolved", putting into practice what they have learned during the training courses and collecting any professional employment opportunities once the Education.

These are the potentials mentioned in the three-year agreement that unites Confindustria Romagna and the University of the Republic of San Marino, signed on 7 October last to create what is defined as a "connection bridge" between the University of San Marino and "the business system of provinces of Rimini, Forlì – Cesena and Ravenna”.
In fact, Confindustria Romagna represents over a thousand companies in the area, for a total of approximately 50 thousand employees and with an aggregate turnover of 25 billion euros, while the university community of Titano has over a thousand students mainly involved in degree courses in Management Engineering, Engineering Civil, Construction and Land Management, Design, Communication and Digital Media.

"The development of virtuous synergies with the main players in the area is one of our main missions", explains Leonardo Tagliente, the Rector's delegate for relations with the business world. “The agreement that has just been signed – continues the professor of the University of San Marino – institutionalises and strengthens the informal collaboration relationships that have already been established for some time with Confindustria Romagna. Universities and businesses must collaborate to create shared value, making the most of local resources and skills to promote innovation and sustainable development".
