The lessons of the Higher School of Historical Studies of the University of the Republic of San Marino, recorded and broadcast by the Usmaradio broadcaster, totaled over 2021 thousand listeners in 8.
Available as podcasts on the web, the interventions concerned in particular the academics who took up the chair during the in-depth research of the PhD in Historical Sciences, with the recent participation of figures such as the former Italian Prime Minister and President of the European Commission Romano Prodi. Among the most listened to are the historians Luciano Canfora, Franco Cardini and Aldo Schiavone, as well as the philosopher Massimo Cacciari.
The audience figures add to the initiatives that in 2021 characterized the station directed by Roberto Paci Dalò both on Titan and in the European cultural panorama: between telematic performances, workshops and in-depth analysis, Usmaradio collaborated with entities such as the Joint Research Center of the Commission Europea and Santarcangelo Festival, as well as having recently curated a session of the School of Radiophony in the framework of a dramaturgy course held at the Teatro Arena del Sole in Bologna, promoted by ERT Emilia Romagna Teatro and aimed at figures such as actors and directors.
With respect to the projects in the pipeline, collaborations are envisaged with excellences such as the Cantonal Museum of Natural History of Lugano, the Professional University School of Italian Switzerland and the Moleskine Foundation of Milan, within the framework of the activities of the master's degree course in Interaction & Experience Design. Furthermore, a countdown for the launch of the Usma Dischi label and a Residency project for artists and researchers who will spend short periods at Usmaradio, in collaboration with Giardini Pensili of Rimini, to create radio works and insights.
