Three students from the University of San Marino win the national packaging design award "OneMorePack."

Students from the Design degree program at the University of the Republic of San Marino took home the podium at the fifth edition of OneMorePack, a national packaging design competition for professionals and students, conceived and promoted by the Grafica Metelliana printing company, based in the province of Salerno.

In the section dedicated to high school and university students, which required the creation of a project for the multinational IT company HP, first prize was awarded to Valerio Pasqualicchio, a student at the University of San Marino and author of a work that the jury appreciated for its "vintage, futurist-inspired design and the study that led to the anthropomorphization of forms, which take on physical identity and personality." Second and third place went to two students from San Marino: Andrea Alice Bronzetti and Federica Fabbri, completing a top three that reflects the students' experience in the Communication Design Workshop led by Lucia Roscini and Ilaria Ruggeri.

The competition's awards ceremony took place last Friday at the Donnaregina Monumental Complex in Naples. The president of the technical jury was Lorenzo Marini, art director and artist with 300 awards to his name, including the Golden Lion at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity: "Packaging is becoming an emotional and reassuring moment," he commented. "It's not just the product's appearance, but something very close to its soul."
