Every year around 40 business plans are drawn up by the degree courses in Design and Communication and Digital Media
A car sharing platform to move around Valmarecchia by reducing costs and environmental impact, while also staying up-to-date via smartphone on bus timetables and the characteristics of the trekking routes, is among the projects proposed by the students of the University of the Republic of San Marino in the context of two Economics courses aimed at students enrolled in the three-year courses in Communication and Digital Media on the one hand and Design on the other.
Presented on Tuesday 30 May and Monday 5 June, the ideas were developed under the coordination of professor Karen Venturini by groups "who drew up documents of about thirty pages in which they described and deepened their intuitions also defining the horizons of financial sustainability and social, analyzing any reference market and interviewing potential customers and interested figures, to come up with a marketing and economic plan”, explains the academic.
Among the projects is also a system for the creation and sale of tourist packages dedicated to San Marino with personalized solutions in which the accommodations for stays are defined together with activities such as guided visits to the excellent realities of the Titano, cooking courses and workshops, in the wake of an initiative confirmed for several years with the involvement of local institutions, organizations and businesses. In this sense, this year the Governments of Castello di San Marino Città, Borgo Maggiore and Montegiardino, as well as the Tourist Office and the “Crinali Beni Comuni” committee of Valmarecchia.
Among the proposals also the expansion of an already consolidated rap music festival in the historic center and the hypothesis of a project for the former Murata clay pigeon shooting range, in which to provide study rooms and other spaces and services.
"Considering also the degree course in Management Engineering, where my colleague Leonardo Tagliente is active, the students of the University draw up a total of about forty business plans every year, among which very interesting and potentially useful ones emerge for the social system and economy of the republic, providing for the creation of start-ups and more".
