Insights on the main intervention techniques on buildings damaged by earthquakes in the light of the laws in Italy and the tax incentives dedicated to the recovery and consolidation of civil buildings. This is what will be offered with the seminar "Seismic classification and fiber-reinforced composites for structural reinforcement - evaluation methods and intervention techniques for the seismic improvement and adaptation of buildings", scheduled for Tuesday 5 December from 9 am in the Sala Montelupo in Domagnano.
Organized by the Civil Engineering degree course of the University of the Republic of San Marino, the study day will bring to the chair industry experts and academics such as Antonio Borri, professor of Construction Science at the University of Perugia, and the colleague Maria Antonietta Aiello of the University of Salento, where she teaches Construction Techniques. Together with them the president of the Civil Engineering degree course of the University of San Marino, Angelo Marcello Tarantino, and Andrea Barocci, president of the Order of Engineers of the province of Rimini. "The degree course in Civil Engineering - explains Tarantino - is pleased to promote this initiative, which is a moment of reflection on the use of new materials and innovative technologies for the conservation of buildings, a highly topical issue in the world of the freelance profession and research".
The initiative is possible thanks to the collaboration of the University with the Order of Engineers and Architects of the Republic of San Marino, the Order of Engineers of Rimini, the Order of Architects of Rimini and the Fibrenet company.
