You have until August 30th to register for the first edition of the Advanced Training Course in Audiovisual and Film Production at the University of the Republic of San Marino, which offers a program designed to prepare you for the professional use of the tools, languages, and techniques essential for producing an audiovisual work, involving direction, screenwriting, filming, and special effects.
Running from October to February, and concentrated on weekends with one session per month focusing on a specific topic, the course aims to train qualified personnel to work in audiovisual and film production, as well as to perfect the techniques of those already working in the sector.
Fellow teachers include Oscar Chiconi, former collaborator of Francis Ford Coppola and Michael Hoffman; Emilien Lazaron, special effects supervisor on films such as Christophe Gans's "Beauty and the Beast" and Roman Polanski's "Ghost Writer"; Paolo Muti, with a 30-year career spanning television programs and live sports; Juan Solanas, with his "Nordeste" at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival; and Gino Sgreva, director of photography on music videos for artists such as Zucchero, Gianna Nannini, Vasco Rossi, and Sting.
The course is organized by the Department of Human Sciences of the University of the Republic of San Marino in collaboration with Cinephil San Marino. Applications are open to candidates of any nationality with a university degree or higher. Alternatively, professionals with significant and documented experience in audiovisual production, film editing, and photography are also welcome. There are 35 places available.
