A training program dedicated to San Marino's archaeological, historical, and artistic heritage, created with the help of experts, officials, and professionals working for local cultural organizations and institutions. This is the new initiative of the Department of Human Sciences at the University of the Republic of San Marino, aimed at teachers in San Marino schools of all levels.
Among the objectives is to consider museums as "educational environments" rather than "containers to be exploited," through a program that includes, among other initiatives, in-depth explorations of Mount Titan's natural landscape, the State Museum, and the State Library. Visits and excursions to locations such as the Canepa Cave and the Educational Arboretum are also planned.
The program includes a total of nine three-hour meetings, scheduled between October 27th and April 27th 2017, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Participation in the events is free for San Marino teachers.
A fee of €50 is required for those wishing to earn the required credits, which require the submission of a final project. For further information: dsu@unirsm.sm or carlos.ceci@unirsm.sm.
