The first digital volume, available free of charge, celebrating the milestone was presented today at the Regency
Two decades of lectures, analyses, courses, research, and insights collected in twelve volumes that address topics such as cybercrime and digital citizenship, prison sentences and alternative measures, prisons, crimes against women and other forms of violence.
The Master's Degree in Criminology and Forensic Psychiatry at the University of the Republic of San Marino, 20 years after its launch, celebrates a milestone achieved through a program that has trained approximately 400 students, primarily lawyers, psychiatrists, physicians, and law enforcement officials, establishing itself as a point of reference on the peninsula.
The digital volumes, available for free download, feature over one hundred contributions presented at conferences organized by the Master's program to date. Authors include Massimo Clerici, professor at the University of Milan-Bicocca and director of the Department of Mental Health and Addictions at the IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori in Monza; Roberta Lippi, writer and podcaster; Mauro Palma, president of the European Penological Center at Roma Tre University; Cesare Burdese, an architect working in the field of prison construction; Stefano Opilio, Director General of International Affairs and Judicial Cooperation at the Italian Ministry of Justice; and Valerio Calzolaio, UN consultant and journalist.
The first volume was released today, Thursday, September 25, coinciding with the presentation of the initiative to the Captains Regent, Denise Bronzetti and Italo Righi. Speakers at a hearing at the Palazzo Pubblico included Nicolò Scuderi, director of the Center for Biomedical Research and Studies at the University of San Marino; Giancarlo Nivoli, director of the Master's program; Daniela Parisi, lieutenant colonel of the Italian Financial Police; Teodoro Lonfernini, Secretary of State for Education and Culture; and Stefano Canti, Secretary of State for Justice.
