Titano Business Plan Competition
An initiative of the University of the Republic of San Marino, in collaboration with San Marino Innovation, to support innovative entrepreneurial ideas and projects of high strategic value presented by students and young people from San Marino.
The competition welcomes projects from any sector, provided they are consistent with the pillars of the EUSAIR Strategy: Blue Growth, Connecting the Region, Environmental Quality, Sustainable Tourism, and Improved Social Cohesion. The initiative not only enhances the talent of young San Marino citizens, but also contributes to strengthening the University and the Republic of San Marino's presence in the European and macro-regional arena.
The winning project officially represents San Marino at the POPRI Business Plan Competition, as part of the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregional Strategy.
EPO – UIPO
The University of San Marino is part of the prestigious Pan-European Seal (PES) network, which allows graduates and doctoral students to activate paid post-graduate internship courses at
the European Patent Office (EPO ) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Internships, lasting one year and with the possibility of renewal, at the EPO (Munich, The Hague, Berlin, and Brussels) and EUIPO (Alicante, Brussels, and Luxembourg) represent a unique opportunity for postgraduate training in intellectual and industrial property matters and an excellent springboard into the world of work.
Pan-European Seal Young Professionals Program (EPO)
Those interested in the EUIPO programme are invited to submit their application by the 25 February 2026 to email addresses k.venturini1@unirsm.sm e international@unirsm.sm, attaching the following documentation:

cover letter indicating the type and date of graduation, or the expected graduation date;

any certification or indication of the level of knowledge of the English language;

any certificates of participation in preparatory courses on intellectual property at EUIPO (it is advisable to consult the EUIPO website for information on preparatory courses for the internship).
The UNIRSM Internationalization Office will pre-select the candidates and send the list of selected names both to the candidates themselves and to EUIPO.
Selected candidates will then be able to complete their individual registration at EUIPO from March 1st to 31st.
Pan-European Seal Traineeship Program (EUIPO)
Those interested in the program EPO – Young Professionals will have to submit their application from the 16 February to the 9 March directly through the official EPO website: epo.org/young-professionals.
At the same time, candidates are required to inform the Internationalization Office by sending a summary email (containing information on the degree title, possession of the English language certification level B2 and any preparatory courses taken) to the addresses k.venturini1@unirsm.sm e international@unirsm.sm.
The EPO staff will subsequently consult with the University of San Marino to define the list of potential UNIRSM winners.
