Biographical profile
Luca Gorgolini is Associate Professor of Contemporary History (Department of History and Law). He teaches Globalization and Digital Society (Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Digital Media), Digital Media and Disinformation (Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Digital Media), and Contemporary History and Digital Society (Master's Degree in Interaction & Experience Design).
He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Advanced School of Historical Studies and of the Teaching Staff of the Doctorate in Historical Sciences.
He is the Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of “Critica Storica” (a series of the Historical and Legal Department published by Il Mulino);
Member of the Editorial Board of the “OttocentoDuemila” series, published by Bononia University Press;
Member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal “Clionet. For a Sense of Time and Place”, Bradypus Editore (Rome);
Member of the scientific committee of the “Strumenti e Documenti” series (Bookstones editors, Rimini);
Member of the Scientific Committee of the “Quaderni” series (Bookstones Editori, Rimini); Member of the Editorial Committee (with coordination duties) of the scientific journal “Storia e Futuro. Online Journal of History and Historiography”;
