Short Bio profile

Born in Reggio Emilia on 11/02/73.
Graduated with 110/110 cum laude (with dignity of the press) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Parma on 22/04/99.
From 07/07/98 to 06/05/99 he fulfilled his military obligations.
State exam taken in Parma in May 1999.
Since 24/11/99 he has been a graduate attending the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Parma where he participates in the EEC project “FAIR 1220”: Curing systems for sausages.
Winner of the competition for Researcher in Mechanical Industrial Plants (scientific-disciplinary sector ING-IND/17) at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Parma, he has been in service on this post since 01/02/01.
From 02/07/02 to 28/01/03 he was Visiting Professor at the Division of Industrial Engineering of the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Winner of the competition for full professor in Mechanical Industrial Plants (scientific-disciplinary sector ING-IND/17) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Parma, he has been in service in this position since 30/12/04.
Since 30/12/2007 he has been a confirmed associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Parma
Winner of the competition for FIRST PROFESSOR in Mechanical Industrial Plants (scientific-disciplinary sector ING-IND/17) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Parma, he has been in service in this position since 01/11/10.
Since November 2011 he has been President of the Degree Course Council in Mechanical Engineering for the Food Industry renamed in November 2015 in Engineering of Plants and Machines for the Food Industry.
Since November 2012 he has been deputy director of the CIPACK interdepartmental center
Since November 2014 he has been director of the CIPACK interdepartmental center
Since January 2018 he has been the Rector's Delegate for the Erasmus and Overworld programmes
