
Biographical profile
Annalisa Sentuti, PhD in Business Economics (PhD), is Researcher (pursuant to article 24, paragraph 3, letter b, Law 240/2010) in Business Economics (SECS-P/07) at
the Department of Economics, Society, Politics (DESP) of the Carlo Bo University of Urbino. He teaches Business and Public Administration Economics at the School of Economics, Business Economics at the School of Political and Social Sciences, Business Administration and Accounting at the School of Law and the School of Computer Science.
In April 2018 he obtained the qualification for the functions of University Professor of Second level for the Competition Sector 13/B1 - Business Economics (SECS-P/07).
Graduated in Economics and Commerce at the University of Urbino in 2001, in the period 2001-2005 she collaborated as a freelancer with the consultancy and training company Butera e Partners (Milan) and with IRSO - Institute for research and intervention on organizational systems (Milan), carrying out activities aimed at both private companies and public companies (among others: Municipality of Verona, Municipality of Parma, Municipality of Pesaro, Lombardy Region).
In March 2008 he obtained the PhD in Business Economics at the University of Macerata, winning the "Best Thesis Award" the following year.

Since the 2008-2009 academic year, he has held numerous courses in Business Economics and Accounting at the University of Urbino, first as a contract professor and then as a contract professor. He has also carried out teaching and training activities in Masters (including the II level Masters in "Management Practices in the Public
Administration", at the University of the Republic of San Marino, and in "Administrative sciences and innovation in public administration - MasterPA, at
the University of Macerata and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo), PhDs, numerous ITS and IFTS courses and other courses aimed at entrepreneurs, managers, employees of private companies and public administrations.
Research interests
He has participated in various research projects at national and European level, investigating, among others, the following topics: corporate governance, gender diversity in private and public companies, family businesses, management and strategic control systems, entrepreneurship and SMEs.
She has presented papers on these topics in over 80 national and international conventions, conferences and workshops and is the author of over 100 publications including monographs, articles published in scientific journals, volume contributions, conference proceedings and reviews. In 2020, you won the Best Paper Award given by the International Small Business Journal (ISBJ) at the XXXIV RENT Conference – Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
He is Associate Editor and Managing Editor of the Small Business/Small Business Magazine and Reviewer
for numerous national and international scientific journals. She is also a member of the Scientific Committee of IPAZIA - Scientific Observatory on Gender Issues/Observatory on Gender Research, member of AIDEA (Italian Academy of Business Economics) and SIDREA (Italian Society of Teachers of Accounting and Business Economics), member of the ECSB (European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship), GENSIG (Gender and Entrepreneurship Special Interest Group, promoted by the ECSB), ASPI (Association for the study of small and medium enterprises) and CRIMPI (Research Center on Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses, University of Urbino).
