The project focused on the modernization and sustainability of San Marino's road infrastructure through several key initiatives. The research includes the adoption of eco-friendly techniques and materials to reduce environmental impact and promote the circular economy.
The digitalization of the road maintenance management system aims to improve operational efficiency and transparency through the use of technologies such as GIS platform and smartphone applications.
In parallel, an in-depth road safety analysis was conducted to identify and mitigate accident risks across the entire road network.
Finally, quality control has been strengthened by implementing a specialized laboratory and using advanced equipment to assess the quality of materials and monitor road conditions precisely and timely.
