Withdrawal from studies

Students, whether currently enrolled or beyond the standard duration of the program, can at any time withdraw from their studies.
This is a unilateral act which cancels the student's academic career.

The declaration of withdrawal from studies must be submitted in written form using the form attached at the bottom of the page. The original documentation must be delivered by hand or sent via registered email with return receipt to the Student Office. Alternatively, only if the student badge does not need to be returned because never collected, the documentation may be sent in digital format via PEC (Certified Electronic Mail). The email and the PEC address of the Student Office are available on the page contacts.

To withdraw from studies, it is necessary to submit or deliver the following documents to the Student Office:

  • declaration of withdrawal completed, printed and signed;
  • valid identification document;
  • university badge (if collected).

Students enrolled in Masters, Advanced Training Courses, Specialization Course etc. must submit only:

  • declaration of withdrawal completed, printed and signed;
  • valid identification document.

Please Note: requests sent by e-mail will not be accepted.

The SMaC Card issued upon enrollment will be deactivated for the canteen service but will remain in the student's possession.
Students who withdraw, whether within the standard duration of the program or beyond, are not required to pay any outstanding tuition fees.

A student who has withdrawn has the option to start the same degree program from the beginning or to enroll in a different degree program, within the deadlines and procedures established for students who enroll for the first time. However the previous academic career cannot be reinstated, as it has been canceled as a result of the withdrawal.
