To access the three-year degree course in Communication and Digital Media it is essential, after pre-enrolling online, to successfully take the admission test consisting of a motivational interview

The admission tests will be held in person at the Department of Human Sciences in Viale A. Onofri, 87 – 47890 San Marino City – Republic of San Marino. They may be held online (with Microsoft TEAMS platform) only for motivated requests that must be sent to the student secretariat (segreteriastudenti@unirsm.sm) within two days prior to the test date. 

ADMISSION TEST

Interviews will take place as per schedule.
Candidates will have to present themselves for identification procedures at 13pm on the day of the test equipped with:

  • document valid recognition
  • receipt of the payment of the pre-registration fee of €50,00
  • certificate of passing at least 60% of the multiple choice questions proposals at the end of MOOC “Semiotics of new media” available at Unibo Open Knowledge (if not already uploaded during online pre-registration)
  • any English language certification equal to or higher than level B1 (if not already uploaded during the online pre-registration phase)

Any disabilities and/or specific learning disorders must be reported at the time of pre-registration by sending an email to inclusion@unirsm.sm, accompanied by appropriate certification.

The interview schedule will be published in the this page by the deadline shown in the table.

The admission test consists of a interview aimed at:

  • verify the candidate's interest in and aptitude for communication and digital media issues;
  • verify that the candidate has actually followed the MOOC "Semiotics of new media", available at Unibo Open Knowledge, and personally carried out the tests required to obtain the certificate of passing, with targeted questions on the contents of the MOOC;
  • verify the level of knowledge of the English language.

The final evaluation of the test consists of:

  • maximum 20 points for the score obtained after passing the MOOC "Semiotics of new media";
  • maximum 20 points for English language certifications equal to or higher than level B1;
  • maximum 60 points for the interview.

In the event of equal scores, the younger candidate precedes the ranking.

The evaluation of the interview takes into account the following criteria:

  • expository clarity;
  • overall maturity;
  • ability to argue;
  • interests and motivations that lead to undertake studies in Communication and Digital Media;
  • learning and elaboration of the contents of the MOOC "Semiotics and new media".

The minimum eligibility score is set at 60/100.

Candidates whose mother tongue is not Italian must demonstrate during the interview that they possess adequate Italian language skills.
