The final thesis is divided into:

  1. Thesis
  2. Graphic tables in A1 format, paginated vertically and printed in color on paper. It must summarize the thesis project through the use of text, photos, figures and images specially referred to in the text and described in the relative legend.
    The posters must be made according to the official template of the degree course and in the header it is necessary to add the following information: aa [0000–00] . [student name and surname] . [project title] . [supervisor name and surname and any co-supervisors] . [possible subtitle of the project]
    The modifiable A1 Poster template can be requested directly from the Student Secretariat by writing to segreteriastudenti@unirsm.sm.
  3. Abstract extensive in Italian and English of the thesis project, in which to summarize the thesis project (introduction, object of the work, results and conclusions) must be about 1.000 characters. The text must be accompanied by a selection of up to 10 photos and/or images, up to 10 keywords and any bibliography. The paper must be drawn up according to the template.
    The editable abstract template can be requested directly from the Student Secretariat by writing to segreteriastudenti@unirsm.sm.

Must be delivered to Student Secretariat within the deadline indicated in graduation sessions and deadlines:

  • 2 hard copies of the thesis (bound in blue leather and gold lettering);
  • declaration of availability of the thesis degree, to be inserted as the last page of the thesis (both digital and on paper);
  • extended abstract in Italian and English of the thesis project (in which to summarize the thesis project (introduction, object of the work, results and conclusions) in about 1.000 characters. the text must be accompanied by a selection of up to 10 photos and/or images, max 10 keywords and possible bibliography.
  • SD card (attached in a transparent envelope inside the paper thesis) containing:
  1. poster folder containing A1 posters in .ppt and .pdf format;
  2. thesis folder containing the thesis document in .pdf and .docx format;
  3. extended abstract folder containing extended abstract in Italian and English of the thesis project in .pdf and .docx format;
  4. image folder containing the photographic material;

Instead, it must be delivered to the headquarters of the CC always within the deadline indicated above the A1 Poster summarizing the thesis work.

Digital copy attached to the online graduation application

The .pdf file of the final thesis (showing the consultation form as the last page) must also be uploaded to the degree application on the Esse3 online desk (thesis attachments section).

The calculation of the final average considers the average of the marks obtained in the exams, weighted on the basis of the credits of each single course, rounded to the nearest integer.
The examining commission evaluates the final test and, if it is passed, assigns a full score from 0 to 7 hundred and tenths for the final test, taking into account the quality of the work carried out and the exhibition ability demonstrated.
The commission can unanimously assign honors if the weighted average of the marks obtained in the exams, rounded to the nearest integer, is at least equal to 105 and the sum of the rounded average and the final exam mark is equal or higher than 110
