Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, the qualification achievement process has been completely digitalised and can be carried out exclusively through the online counter by Esse3. The procedure is divided into two phases:
- 1st phase – Submission of degree application
At this stage, you must register for the desired degree session. The procedure has strict deadlines and you will be asked to upload some mandatory documents, so it is advisable to move well in advance to prepare the attachments indicated on the pages of each CdL. You will be asked to indicate a supervisor (at least the first supervisor), the thesis title (not definitive), and any exams not yet recorded or to be taken. - 2nd phase – Insertion of the final thesis and approval by the supervisor
At this stage, the student – accessing the qualification attainment procedure again – must attach the final thesis in digital format, which will be submitted for approval or rejection by the supervisor. It is therefore advisable to do so well in advance, so as to allow the supervisor to approve the thesis within the deadline. It will no longer be necessary to deliver paper copies to the student secretariat.
Each Degree Course may however directly request graduates to deliver to the relevant location any materials useful for the final discussion (paper theses, posters, tables, exhibition panels, etc.).
